My six Golden Age wants for 2004 are:

All-Star #10
Plastic Man #6
Starman #2
Shazam! #4
Hawkman #1
Superboy #1

Should any of these turn out to be the unannounced GA volume for 2003 then add Flash #2.
Should the GA line be expanded my seventh and eighth choices are Sandman #1, and Batman: Dark Knight #4.

My six (or seven) are:

1)All-Star Comics vol.10
2)Plastic Man vol.6
3)GA Hawkman vol.1
4)GA Starman vol.2
5)Dark Knight vol.4
6)Superboy vol.1 (or if he's the mystery one this year, then Superman in World's Finest vol.1)
[7)GA Flash vol.2]

My wants/estimates (I seem to be bad at predicting what actually will come out, so I may as well just pick what I want and what seems halfway plausible) for GA 2004 are:

GA Flash #2 -- come on, already!
Starman #2 -- let's finish it up!
All-Star #9 -- deservedly inevitable.
Shazam #4 -- let's get ready for the movie.
Superman in World's Finest #1 -- it's inevitable sooner or later, we might as well get going.
Dr. Fate #1 -- a nice companion to Spectre.

I'm thinking Plastic Man will slow down, and it probably should. As good as it is, there's plenty of other good stuff to get to as well, and Plastic Man fans have been treated pretty well the last couple of years. If we get 7, or acknowledging that we probably won't get both GA Flash #2 and Starman #2 (I'd be thrilled to get either at this point!), I'd hope for GA GL #3, Wonder Woman #4, or possibly World's Finest #3, to move along some of these fine series that haven't been adequately represented in Archives yet. I'd happily take only one new series in 2004 and get an extra one of these continuing volumes.

(reply from Craig Delich}: Steve....I noted on your future Archives page features like Black Terror. I'd like to see that one, too....but WHO around has a complete set to be used to repro it?
Certainly, Bill Black at AC Comics has done some reprinting in B/W, and he might be the logical one to do it (but would he have the funds to get this accomplished IF he had all the books?).

I agree with what you've got there. I also think that GA Flash #2 should come out before Starman 2 if for no other reason than the Flash has a long way to go. The sooner we get the next one the better. While I'd like to finish off GA Starman, Flash must come first.

with rumors that Starman will be getting a new series, it seems Starman is likely to come first...

What? Didn't hear that! You mean, a Stargirl series? I'd love to read the continuing story of Jack Knight, but I don't see it happening.

Tony Harris talks about a Jack Knight mini-series at http://www.comicon.com/pulse/.

My picks:

All-Star Vol 10
Starman Vol. 2
Shazam Vol. 4
Hawkman Vol. 1
Superboy Vol. 1
Superman in World's Finest Vol. 1

1st alternate for expansion or if any of these are in 2003: Flash Vol. 2

2nd alternate: Dr. Fate Vol. 1

Well, the folks at Comics on CD-ROM.com were able to get a hold of many of the early ones, and DC has said their sources of older material have expanded... I'd really like to see this done too. I'm DYING to read the origin if nothing else!!! I SAW the book at the one and only convention I went to, but there's no way I could have afforded it, or even though about buying it.

As for Bill Black doing it, I highly doubt it even if he had the books and the funds. He seems to have an aversion to anything other than the Robinson/Meskin material (and the others that were involved in the final days), which I can't understand. Sure, they're the better artists, but Ed Moritz and the others from the early-mid part of the run have their charm, and the stories were NOT bad at all!
